Barb's Fabulous Flowers

Here are 2 cards that I did for a Flower Swap. The only rule was to use a stamped image of a flower. With the Friendship Swap right around the corner those items will most likely be the next ones posted. Hope you like these!

Happy Easter

This is the card I mailed to my Secret Stamping Sister today. She doesn't know about my blog so the secret is still safe :D Plus I wanted to wish everyone a HAPPY EASTER! Spring Break starts tomorrow for Isabelle so there won't be any posts until she goes back to school on April 7. Enjoy this wonderful weather! Have a wonderful Easter filled with love and loved ones.

Here is another card using the Gina K set The Journey. I was experimenting with some new spellbinders and decided they looked nice behind the bigger shapes too. This month has really been touch and go but recovery is still moving forward... so with that the quote for today is "Any progress is still progress" . Keep a positive attitude and have a happy weekend.

This was the card I designed for the Milwaukee Swap last fall. We had a blast with 40 women stamping all day long.

This card is colored with Copic Markers. I used Flower Soft on the plants beside of the door.

These are a couple of fun Christmas cards I made. The snowmen are reflected in the lake by using lighter ink before using Glassy Glaze (SU) to perfect the iced effect. The paper is ripped with Dazzling Diamonds added for the snow along the side of the pond. There is sparkly gold trim on the presents and the sleigh blades but they didn't photograph well. So, these are some cards I have gotten back out while looking for favorites to submit to a design team.
Thanks for looking and Happy Stamping!

Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #66

This is a card that I made for Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #66 the movie is Clueless and we had to use a touch of plaid. The dress is paper pieced in a plaid print then accented with Stickles, the boa is three color coordinating yarns that I loosely braided and attached with a brad that matched so well it disappears. Then the ends were glued behind the card stock on both sides. Spellbinders Labels made easy work of the matting with a nice corner punch to finish the look. This movie is very trendy so you have to have bling and the purple dazzlers worked perfect. Keeping with the Clueless theme I chose the sentiment "Enjoy Life this is not a dress rehearsal" this is one Clue I think those girls got right.

I just LOVE this little owl by *Wink* Wink Ink, he was so much fun to color. This is my attempt at a manly card but I just had to add the pearls in the corner. They matched perfect. The clouds behind the owl can be done very easy. Dawn Lusk has a tutorial on her blog that is GREAT!
Hope you like this! Here's to another fun day of stamping!
