Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #66

This is a card that I made for Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #66 the movie is Clueless and we had to use a touch of plaid. The dress is paper pieced in a plaid print then accented with Stickles, the boa is three color coordinating yarns that I loosely braided and attached with a brad that matched so well it disappears. Then the ends were glued behind the card stock on both sides. Spellbinders Labels made easy work of the matting with a nice corner punch to finish the look. This movie is very trendy so you have to have bling and the purple dazzlers worked perfect. Keeping with the Clueless theme I chose the sentiment "Enjoy Life this is not a dress rehearsal" this is one Clue I think those girls got right.

I just LOVE this little owl by *Wink* Wink Ink, he was so much fun to color. This is my attempt at a manly card but I just had to add the pearls in the corner. They matched perfect. The clouds behind the owl can be done very easy. Dawn Lusk has a tutorial on her blog that is GREAT!
Hope you like this! Here's to another fun day of stamping!

Meet Owlfie!!!

Here is my second card for today. This is Owlfie he is just one of many digital stamps available at *Wink*Wink Ink a new Stamp company. There will be a few more post featuring this adorable little owl because he is just to cute not to use over and over.

2 new cards ~

I used SU punches, Moose You stamp set and the Card stock is Whisper White, Choc. Chip and Bashful Blue, Choc. Chip ink accented with Smootch paint for the eyes and the tear. On the side I threaded ribbon through the openings and secured the ends on the back then attached the bow seperate. The thought of ripping the paper made me not want to tie the ribbon that was threaded.

This image is a little fuzzy but my picture taking skills are sure to improve. The card was designed for a Stampin' Success Challenge but did not win. Oh well, still got the experience. The winning card was GREAT some of those ladies just knock my socks off. This card used SU Forest Friends stamp set, Close to Coca and Kiwi Kiss Card stock and ink with Vanilla Hodge podge hardware and Cardstock. The finishing touch was reversible Kiwi Kiss Ribbon. I liked the design so much this was the card I did for the Mad-City Madness swap in 2009.
This is a notebook I designed for the Hartford Shoebox Swap 2009. There is a key charm attached to a ribbon that can be used as a bookmark.

Design Teams found!!!

Thanks to the wonderful website splitcoaststampers I have found 2 different companies that are looking for people to join their design team. There is no time like now so here goes nothin'. Now to figure out how to get pictures on here the way I want with the text and everything just so.
